
Lead Service Technician

- Service, inspect, test, and repack life-saving marine equipment (e.g., liferafts, first aid kits)
- Carry out repairs, maintenance, and equipment installations per safety protocols
- Complete reports on tests/inspections and manage stock via stores requisition
- Diagnose faults, perform emergency and preventive maintenance
- Support new/complex equipment testing within scope of expertise
- Lead daily task allocation and assist with site opening/closing procedures
- Coach and mentor technicians; support training and assessments
- Collaborate on monthly schedules and resource planning
- Proven experience in servicing technical or marine safety equipment (liferafts ideal)
- Leadership or team lead experience in a hands-on service/technical environment
- Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills
- Valid driving licence and flexible for occasional travel
- Willing to obtain rope access certification if not already held
- Motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
