KS2 Teacher – Supply Role
Location: Peacehaven
Pay: £120 – £145 per day
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
Contract Type: Day-to-Day SupplySupply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of Primary and Secondary schools across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex.We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join our team and work in schools across Peacehaven. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator looking for flexible, day-to-day teaching roles with the potential for longer-term placements.As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the national curriculum, maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour, and supporting pupils in reaching their academic and personal goals. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote a supportive learning atmosphere
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND pupils
Requirements:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Passion for teaching and making a difference in pupils' lives
  • Strong communication, planning, and classroom management skills
  • Willingness to work flexibly across schools in the Peacehaven area
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply
