- Demonstrable experience and understanding of industrial control systems, including data communications and integration (e.g., systems from current manufacturers and traditional Modbus protocols), ideally gained within a similar environment e.g. production processes, oil and gas, or power generation
- Experience with databases, such as OSI PI and SQL, including configuration and use
- Software development skills, particularly in tools and languages like Power BI, Python, and Ignition SCADA
- Familiarity with project lifecycle documentation (e.g., FDS, DDS, FAT, SAT) is desirable but not essential
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, take initiative, and step outside your comfort zone when needed
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively-both in writing and verbally
- Self-motivation and time management, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines to achieve project goals.
- A degree in an Engineering or Science discipline (e.g., Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science)
- A valid UK driving license is essential due to client and site visits.
