Job descriptionLearning Support Assistant – South East LondonSecondary Schools across South East London are working with Prospero Teaching to bring in new cohorts of Learning Support Assistants for September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and engaging learning environment.Secondary Schools that we work with across SE London are known for their inclusive ethos, creative curriculum, and commitment to nurturing the whole child. Staff are valued and supported through ongoing professional development, and the schools enjoy strong links with the local community and families.ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group support to pupils Year 7-11
Assist the class teacher in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
Support children with additional needs, including those with EHCPs.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals.What You’ll Need to SucceedA patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
