Contract Type: Full-TimeSupply Desk is proud to be working in partnership with a progressive and inclusive secondary school in Great Missenden to recruit a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time position running until December 2025, with a strong potential to become permanent.The successful candidate will join a well-established Art department and take responsibility for delivering inspiring and engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity to nurture creativity, encourage artistic exploration, and develop students’ skills across a variety of media and techniques.Applications are warmly welcomed from qualified teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as unqualified teachers with relevant secondary Art teaching experience.About the Role:
  • Design and deliver engaging, imaginative Art lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Foster creativity, independent thinking, and self-confidence in learners
  • Track and evaluate student progress, offering clear and constructive feedback
  • Create and sustain a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities, exhibitions, and art clubs
The ideal candidate will:
  • Degree in Art, Fine Art, or a closely related discipline (essential)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification (preferred)
  • Proven experience teaching Art at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Creative, flexible, and passionate about inspiring students through art education
  • Excellent classroom management and strong organisational abilities
