Application Support Manager to lead a software team. Hybrid working is available, remote interviewing and remote Onboarding. The organisation is a highly respected technology provider, working with institutional clients on a global basis. .The Application Support Manager will:
  • Lead projects of work, taking ownership for internal projects.
  • Manage an application - Software support team.
  • Provide application support to clients using complex trading software.
  • Troubleshoot technical related trading issues
  • Liaise with front, middle and back office users.
  • Work closely with internal development, implementation and account managers to assist with the delivery of software solutions
  • Work on projects in the deployment and upgrade stage.
  • Provide relationship management to clients after product is delivered that will include client training.
Application Support Manager will have:
  • A STEM based degree.
  • Experience leading project and technical streams of work.
  • At least five years commercial Application Support experience.
  • Windows environment experience.
  • T-SQL experience.
  • SSIS - SSRS experience is beneficial
  • Azure experience.
  • Powershell Scripting experience.
  • CI - CD pipelines experience.
  • Financial Services experience - Experience working for a Asset Manager, Brokerage, Exchange, FinTech, Hedge Fund or Investment Bank - desirable.
  • Ability to speak with internal and external stakeholders.
The Application Support Manager will have the chance to work with a leading product within the finance industry.
