Acre are working with a global consumer goods business. My client has a strong presence across EMEA, US, and APAC and a growing portfolio of global brands. We are looking to identify an Interim Senior Product Compliance Strategy Consultant on an interim basis in an initial 6 Month contract to help take their product compliance capabilities to the next level.This is a pivotal role, working directly with senior stakeholders and leadership across Product, Legal, Commercial, and Sustainability teams. You’ll lead a full diagnostic review of the current global compliance setup and develop a progressive, risk-averse strategy aligned with the evolving regulatory expectations, digital transformation, and of course, align with the company's broader sustainability ambitions.The Assignment
  • Conduct a full review of product compliance structures, processes, and capabilities across global regions
  • Define a target operating model for global product compliance, including functional design and resource needs
  • Evaluate systems and data flows (PLM, ERP, supplier portals) and recommend digital improvements
  • Help integrate compliance more tightly with sustainability and responsible sourcing efforts
  • Strengthen the supplier compliance framework through onboarding, audits and capacity building
  • Build tools for regulatory horizon scanning and proactive risk management (e.g. PFAS, EPR, digital labelling)
  • Develop strategies to embed a culture of shared compliance responsibility across the organisation.
  • Recommend governance models, crisis readiness protocols, and executive-level KPIs
Desired Experience
  • Proven in senior product compliance roles, regulatory affairs, and sustainability, ideally within the consumer goods arena
  • Expert knowledge of international product safety, labelling, chemical and packaging compliance
  • A sharp strategic mindset. Can cut through complexity and build future-fit solutions
  • Experience leading cross-market or global transformation projects
  • Confidence working with C-suite and technical teams alike. A strong communicator and trusted advisor
  • Can work independently, but is naturally collaborative and pragmatic in your approach
  • A personal commitment to sustainability, ethics, and purpose-led compliance
