– Assist with managing stock shortages and medicines recalls, supported by the Medicines Safety Officer.
– Clinically screen and order patient own medicines in a timely manner.
– Ensure refrigerator and room temperature checks are conducted appropriately in line with the Trust Medicine Code.
– Liaise with patients, relatives, or specialist services to request ‘Patient Own Drugs’ (PODs) be brought into the hospital in line with the Standard Operating Procedure.
– Assist in the transfer of medicines between services, where appropriate.Requirements:
To be considered, you must be HCPC registered and have the necessary qualifications to provide expert pharmaceutical care.
