
Business Development Executive - Technical Sales

- Serve as lead technical expert in mooring solutions; chains, ropes, anchors, mooring line connectors
- Present demos, proposals, and proof of concepts, to then translate customer needs into technical solutions.
- Provide feedback to Head of BD and Senior Management on performance and opportunities
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting in CRM systems.
- Proactively identify pipeline growth potential.
- Build multilevel relationships with shipowners, ports, yards, OEMs.
- Navigate complex buying structures.
- Support pre- and post-sale technical discussions; ensure solution implementation aligns with promise.
- Work closely with customer service, engineering, operations, and supply teams to ensure end to end delivery of excellence.
- Represent the company at marine industry events, trade fairs, and forums
- Bachelor's degree (Mechanical/Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in technical sales/business development in marine or industrial sectors.
- Proven success selling mooring or related marine solutions
- International experience or ability to operate in cross border markets is a plus.
- Knowledge of mooring systems-hardware, ropes, hydrodynamics.
- Strong capability in preparing technical proposals and conducting tender/RFP responses
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management with multi-level contacts.
- Self-driven, strategic thinker with commercial acumen and results orientation.
- Ability to manage own schedule, travel frequently, and work remotely
