Head Teacher's PA and Office Manager (JDQ - AAAE 5108)Grade 5 £24727 - £26772 (actual salary)37 hours per week, 43 weeks per year to include school closure admin timeImmediate start availablePermanentGovernors and Senior Leaders are looking to appoint a PA to the Headteacher to play an integral role in the successful day-to-day running of this busy and dynamic school. This role provides specialist and complex administrative support and delivers high performing, flexible and effective customer and administrative services that meet the needs of the school.We are looking for an exceptional candidate, who is resilient, organised, can work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, is a team player and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This will include the handling of highly sensitive, confidential and conflicting issues on a daily basis, dealing with staff, parents, students, governors and other external bodies. Excellent customer service and professionalism is at the forefront of this role.The ideal candidate will:
  • Have experience within education in a similar capacity
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Be able to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels across the school and the local community
  • Have the confidence to work both autonomously and as part of a team and have the ability to be able to plan, prioritise and manage a diverse workload effectively
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role, ideally with previous office and/or school experience and be proficient in using software such as Microsoft packages, ParentPay and email systems. Experience of working in a school is not essential, but an enthusiasm for working with young people is vital.
