
Civil Works Supervisor

- Ensuring the safety of all personnel on-site
- Compiling, submitting/approving safe system of works including permits to work
- Ensure compliance with all statutes, standards and company policies, and procedures including health, safety, environment and quality.
- Ensure that T.EN Construction Subcontractors fulfil all their duties under CDM as Principal Contractor or Contractors.
- Demonstrate Leadership in HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and understanding HSE regulations in the UK.
- Creates a quality and HSE oriented work climate that encourages client satisfaction and HSE consciousness among the project team
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with Project Quality Policy
- Ensure all QA/QC inspections are undertaken, and the ITPs documentation are correctly completed as per the approved project procedures
- Overseeing daily work activities, managing multiple subcontractors and work fronts.
- Understand the subcontractors' proposed schedule in detail, ensuring that it is realistic, and then support the subcontractors to deliver their scope of work in a safe and timely manner.
- Must be familiar with the latest site methods, techniques and environmental engineering aspects. Requires specific knowledge in co-ordinating contractor packages, site management and tracking site progress.
- Extensive experience in industry, preferably on major UK projects in petrochemical, energy transition and related industries.
- Be comfortable in reading of construction drawings and specifications
- Developed understanding of UK construction management and execution, contracting strategies, construction planning, industrial relations, CDM, quality and turnover systems as well as construction health, safety, environmental and sustainability requirements.
- Skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution, communication, and leadership
- Demonstrate strong decision-making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work within a multi-disciplined project team.
- Familiarity of working with NAECI agreements and UK Industrial Relations.
- NEC contract exposure
- Contractually, commercially, and technically aware.
- Fluency in English
- Must be eligible to live/work in the UK
- CSCS card and SMSTS qualification
