- Ensure financial controls are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on financial control matters.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of financial processes.
- Support the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
- Work closely with internal audit teams to address control gaps.
- Develop and deliver training on financial controls to relevant teams.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial governance.
- A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Strong technical knowledge of financial controls and processes.
- Experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
- A competitive salary in the range up to £65,000 per annum.
