The Interim Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrically biased) will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment within a fast-paced FMCG environment. This temporary role requires hands-on expertise in electrical systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Responding to breakdowns and carrying out proactive maintenance across a fast-paced food manufacturing site
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on machinery including ovens, conveyors, packaging equipment and automated systems
  • Supporting mechanical maintenance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food safety standards
  • Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
🕒 Contract: Interim / Temporary📍 Location: Food Manufacturing, Lancashire
  • Time-served engineer with strong electrical skills (ideally 17th/18th Edition qualified)
  • Proven experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments
  • Confident with PLC fault finding and basic programming (Siemens preferred)
  • Flexible, proactive and able to hit the ground running
  • Available for shift work (days/nights/weekends as required)
