It’s every one of us working together.We offer a place where you can feel safe, be supported, and make an impact so we can all focus on the future together.Work with a RF scanning system to complete tasks as issued through the warehousemanagement system, on a timely basis to meet production and despatch deadlines.· To liaise with all relevant departments and job functions in order to facilitate the smooth andefficient operation of the warehouses.· To liaise with the Material Controller on the reporting, corrective action or preventative measuresrequired overcoming any issues, which may affect the efficient operation within the warehouse.· To adhere to procedures for the efficient running of the warehouse.· To adhere to health and safety as required.· To participate in continuous improvement activities to improve the efficiency and safety of thewarehouse.· To operate the mechanical handling equipment safely and conform with all safety requirementsassociated with the equipment – Powered pallet truck, counterbalance and clamp.· To comply with Health and Safety, Hygiene, Environmental and general housekeeping policiesand procedures.· The job holder may be required to undertake such other reasonable duties as may be requiredof him/her in the post, the department mentioned above or in the company.· It is the duty of every employee while at work to take reasonable care for the Health, Safetyand Environment of himself and of other persons, who may be affected by his/her acts oromissions at work, and as regards any duty or requirement imposed on his/her employer orany other person by or under any of the relevant statutory provisions (HSAW 1974 section.7)Occasional Duties· In times of personnel shortages and high work activities within the warehouse, it is requiredthat the job holder will be flexible and work on activities that may differ from their normal day today job function.Amendment of Job DescriptionThis is a description of the job as it is presently constituted.
