Our client is a family-owned company that operate in piling, groundworks, drilling, specialist foundation, geotechnical and ground engineering sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.The business is committed to continuous improvement and development and pride themselves on developing a deep understanding of their clients' requirements, offering innovative solutions on a range of projects of various sizes and complexities.Business is thriving and there are a number of projects ongoing with more lined up. They have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join them on a permanent basis, based in their offices in Warrenpoint. The Senior Estimator is ultimately responsible for preparing cost estimates and tenders from initial enquiry through to tender submission, ensuring accurate and competitive prices. The role requires excellent commercial awareness within Piling, Groundworks and general Civils works.The Ideal Person:
- Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
- At least 5 years' experience working as an Estimator
- Extensive experience working on civil engineering projects
- Strong commercial awareness and acumen
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Very good communication and IT skills including relevant software packages
- High attention to detail
- Able to commute to Downpatrick on a daily basis
