- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with "House Account" clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and new business.
- Sales Support & Quotations: Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to prepare quotations, rate cards, and tailored proposals.
- Customer Onboarding: Guide new clients through the setup process, ensuring smooth integration into RIF systems and clear communication of terms.
- Sales Activity & Reporting: Document all client interactions, update CargoWise and ShareDrive, and maintain a pipeline of opportunities.
- Target Achievement: Monitor performance against sales targets, analyse account activity, and support action plans to drive growth.
- Trade Lane Development: Work with overseas partners to identify and support strategic sales initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities meet legal and regulatory standards, including GDPR.
- Experience in a commercial or sales role within logistics or freight forwarding.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., CargoWise) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of import/export processes across air, sea, and road is a plus.
