Trade Mark Administrator – LondonMy client is a leading firm in the intellectual property sector, recognised for its strength in trade marks and designs. With an international outlook and strong reputation, it provides a supportive and collaborative working environment. You will be joining a busy London-based team while also working closely with colleagues in Amsterdam, gaining exposure to a wide range of European and global trade mark work.The Role:
This is an important position within the firm, forming an integral part of the Trade Mark operations. The role involves providing high-level administrative and formalities support to Trade Mark Attorneys and Paralegals. You will take responsibility for ensuring deadlines are met with precision, maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth running of client portfolios across the UK, Europe and internationally.Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering trade mark and design formalities for a wide range of clients
  • Ensuring deadlines for filings, actions and renewals are met with 100% accuracy
  • Supporting attorneys and associates by progressing required actions to meet deadlines
  • Preparing and executing documentation for the registration and renewal of trade marks and designs
  • Maintaining and updating the firm’s records system for trade marks and designs
  • Managing the due date diary system to ensure deadlines are met efficiently and accurately
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in legal administration, ideally within intellectual property or a related sector
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication skills at all levels
  • Fluency in Dutch is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident in prioritising workload and working independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to anticipate the needs of fee earners and clients
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to Amsterdam would be an advantage
