As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless running of our workshops. The position requires exceptional attention to detail and great communication skills to effectively liaise with the company's suppliers and to support our technicians.As the Parts Advisor, you will:
  • Process highly accurate parts orders, including the handling of returns or exchanges as necessary,
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are monitored effectively,
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to find innovative solutions to parts supply issues,
  • Collaborate with Technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts when required for repairs,
  • Maintain an organised workspace to facilitate efficient operations.
Role Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Parts Advisor or a similar role within the automotive industry,
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment,
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written),
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and automotive parts knowledge,
  • Experience using bodyshop management systems (such as AutoFlow or Advance),
  • A valid driver's license.
The package:
  • £36,000 basic salary, with an additional £7,500 OTE
  • 45 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends or compulsory overtime)
  • Workplace Pension scheme
  • Day off for your birthday
