  • 4 FTE | 2 days per week (flexible - Working days can be discussed at interview)
  • £135 - £250 per day - competitive rates reflecting your expertise.
About the Part-Time SEN Maths Teacher
  • Deliver the Maths curriculum in small group or 1:1 settings for students with cognition and learning needs.
  • Teach GCSE content to students unable to access mainstream classes due to SEMH or emotionally-based school avoidance.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment that empowers every student to thrive.
  • Work with a dedicated team to reintegrate students into mainstream education where possible.
Requirements
  • A recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent in Mathematics)
  • Prior experience teaching Maths to KS3 or KS4 pupils.
  • Can tailor lessons to support SEND and SEMH students effectively.
  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to maintain a positive learning atmosphere
  • Clear communication skills and a passion for making maths accessible and enjoyable
  • Previous experience working within UK secondary schools
