
Senior Manager, Procurement Excellence

- Lead the development and execution of procurement excellence strategies to achieve best-in-class Source-to-Pay performance
- Drive process improvement, standardisation, and automation across the procurement lifecycle
- Lead or support strategic procurement transformation projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery
- Oversee S2P/P2P process enhancements, cost governance, and financial transparency initiatives
- Embed strong governance frameworks and promote procurement policy compliance and risk controls
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance understanding, engagement, and transparency in procurement activities
- Build procurement capability through training, mentoring, and continuous team development
- Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, providing insights to support data-driven decision-making
- Manage and evolve the Procurement Spend Cube to support category strategies and continuous improvement
- Champion sustainable and socially responsible procurement, including ESG and supplier diversity initiatives
- Previous experience of Procurement Excellence position with the ability to demonstrate continued improvement within the procurement function
- Analytical with great attention to detail and an ability to troubleshoot complex problems, identify process issues and ensure accuracy and compliance to procurement processes
- Knowledge and understanding of procurement principles, governance, compliance, risk management and best practice through the Source to Pay cycle
- Proficiency of procurement technologies (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle,) and data visualisation tools is a plus
- Using information to create reports for different users and being able to communicate effectively
- Demonstrate good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate previous experience of senior stakeholder engagement
- Able to remain calm and work independently and effectively under pressure
- Previous role within a large, listed, multinational company is a plus
- Requires good understanding of IT systems and processes
