Come and join Wheatley Group as a Finance Officer.About the roleThe main purpose of the Finance Officer (Reconciliations - Balance Sheet) role is the effective, efficient and accurate maintenance of the balance sheets including monthly reconciliation of assigned key balance sheet accounts.The post holder will report to the Financial Accountant - Reconciliations and will be responsible for following up and resolving reconciling differences timeously. Ensuring continuous process improvements, the post holder will also support the wider Financial Reporting team and will assist in external Scottish Housing Regulator annual accounts submissions as required.The post also includes any additional duties that are necessary to maintain integrity and reconciliation of the financial ledgersWho are we looking for?The ideal candidate will have strong IT knowledge and experience of general ledger work within a large company, along with a practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques.The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate experience of managing a challenging workload in a busy environment to meet all deadlines, as well as excellent customer service.
