- Perform routine preventive maintenance on MOVPE reactors and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal disruption.
- Assist with exhaust filter and system maintenance, as well as gas cylinder changes, using Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness to carry breathing apparatus and pass a lung function test. Applicants must also be clean-shaven to ensure proper SCBA use.
- Conduct electrical Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) – training provided.
- Manage the control, handling, and disposal of chemicals, gases, and spare parts, including chemical fills and deliveries.
- Prepare for preventive maintenance tasks and system cleaning.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing processing and ancillary equipment.
- Support engineers with project work and take ownership of assigned projects where qualified.
- Work independently on a variety of tasks following documented procedures, with minimal supervision.
- Assist with logistical operations, including equipment relocation, cleanroom reorganization, and parts shipping.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and promote teamwork across departments.

- Maintenance/Engineering Experience: Prior experience in general maintenance or engineering support is beneficial, particularly in semiconductor-related equipment, pharmaceuticals, or similar industries.
- Technical Knowledge or Qualifications in one or more of the following areas:
- Pneumatics, gas, and vacuum systems
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical maintenance
- Automation
- SCBA Usage: Willing and able to wear a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus as required.
- Basic Electrical Safety Knowledge is required.
- Flexibility for Overtime: Willingness to work extra hours during shutdowns or major maintenance periods.
- Strong Communication Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Forklift Operation: Ability to drive a forklift (training provided).
- Computer Literacy: Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
