- To manage the cleaning team and supervisors, ensuring that they are carrying out their duties effectively and efficiently in accordance with contractual requirements.
- To deliver the agreed services within the budget allocated to their role and to the standard required.
- To develop good client and customer relationships.
- To follow the company's health & safety and quality procedures.
- To ensure that all staff a trained to carry out their duties
- Be available from time to time to deputise for the contract manager.
- To take responsibility for the coordination of cleaning service and other soft services ensuring they meet the operational and contract requirements.
- Working in conjunction with the Contract manager ensure that the SLNT objectives of the contract are met and that the staff are appropriately trained
- To be the champion of managing service issues including the detailed monthly review of service levels across the contract. It is expected that the regular audits of all services will be carried using the Qaudit
- To support the smooth delivery of the cleaning and other services ensuring full compliance with the Contract.
- To work with the client staff to ensure that their needs are taken into account, whilst dealing professionally with any conflicting interests.
- Monitor the procurement and use of materials and equipment, ensuring value for money is achieved.
- Following the appropriate HR guidelines ensure that the staff are managed effectively particularly around time keeping and performance and to manage staff that do not meet the companies required standards appropriately
- Carry out appropriate reporting activities to ensure that the contract manager can carry out their own tasks and meet contract reporting requirements.
- Report production for internal and external use including all adhoc works are correctly invoiced.
- Work as part of the Management team in ensuring that the service meets the quality, Health and Safety, and environmental standards and requirements of MITIE.
- To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holder's capability, according to the needs of the business.

- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
- Criteria:
- All applicants subject to Government Vetting check.
- British citizen, Indefinite stay or EU Citizen.
- Must have been residing in the UK for the past 5 years.
- 3 years passport validity.
