- CNC Programming & Operation: Set, program, and operate SCM 5 Axis CNC machines. machine.
- Quality Control: Ensure your work meets the highest standards by performing quality checks on your own output.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machine issues, adjusting offsets and coordinates as needed to ensure smooth operation.
- Reading Technical Drawings: Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Working to agreed deadlines to ensure we deliver works on time and to standard
- Able to work with materials including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Nylons and ABS
- Able to manual mill and complete lathe work
- Understand material and working processes
- They will work with our internal design team to develop innovative designs and production solutions
- The successful candidate will have over twenty years' experience in machine shops
- CNC Programming: Must have comprehensive experience in CNC programming, with a focus on aviation parts.
- Machine Knowledge: Experience with SCM or similar CNC machines is highly desirable. You must be able to quickly adapt to new machinery.
- Technical Drawings: Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings and translate them into precise machine instructions.
- Proactive Team Player: You should be a motivated, flexible team player with a “can-do” attitude.
