- Providing direct support and advocacy to children in care, ensuring their needs are met and they have access to the best possible care and support.
- Working collaboratively with children, their families, foster carers, and other professionals to create individualised care plans.
- Maintaining a child-centered approach, ensuring children's voices are heard and their rights are respected.
- Promoting positive relationships, building trust and stability for children in care.
- Supporting children in care to achieve their full potential, accessing educational, social, and personal development opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children in care, identifying their needs, strengths, and aspirations.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans, tailored to the specific needs of each child.
- Provide direct support to children in care through one-to-one sessions, group work, and regular visits.
- Maintain close relationships with foster families, providing support and guidance to ensure children receive high-quality care.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and organizations to ensure children access a range of resources and services.
- Monitor progress, evaluate interventions, and make adjustments as needed.
- Advocate for the needs of children in care, ensuring their rights and well-being are protected.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Exceptional Salary: £40,476 - £42,708 per annum (with potential for higher salary based on experience - £46,547 - £49,114) plus a 15% market supplement, totaling up to £49,114.
