Are you an experienced Teacher of Mathematics?Are you looking for a long-term role (after the Easter break) in a Staffordshire secondary school?Academics are currently working in close partnership with a brilliant Ofsted rated secondary school of 'Good' in the Staffordshire Moorlands who are now requiring a qualified Teacher of Maths.The Role
  • Start date is from Monday 8th April 2024.
  • 4 days a week.
  • Predominately teaching Maths, however there is an opportunity of some teaching of Personal Development & ICT also (desirable, but not essential)
  • Work is guaranteed until July 2024.
Ideally, for this role, you will have experience of teaching up to Key Stage 4 (teaching up to Key Stage 5 would be desirable but not essential for the role) and you will have a clear focus on engaging the student's interest in Maths. Our partnership school is very well known for its proud prolonged history and its endorsement that all of the school's learners have an identical chance to make good use of the education that the school has to offer!Role Requirements
  • Hold the relevant Maths qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • Be a confident communicator, an excellent motivator, and can build good rapport with students and fellow staff.
  • Deliver exciting and engaging Maths lessons using your own initiative and have good knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
