Contract Type: PermanentAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced to lead our Team in Bromley. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality safeguarding services, driving improvements, and embedding best practice across adult social care. The successful candidate will lead on quality assurance frameworks, safeguarding audits, service evaluations, and project delivery, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements under the Care Act 2014. They will work closely with social workers, senior leaders, and multi-agency partners to strengthen safeguarding responses for vulnerable adults.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks, ensuring high standards in adult safeguarding practice.
- Conduct case audits, reviews, and evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practice.
- Analyse data and performance trends to inform strategic decision-making and policy development.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures align with national guidance, Care Act 2014, and Making Safeguarding Personal principles.
- Lead on safeguarding improvement projects, working collaboratively with social care teams, health, and other partners.
- Support the implementation of new safeguarding initiatives, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate project outcomes, ensuring objectives are met within timescales and budgets.
- Work in partnership with health, police, housing, and voluntary sector organisations to strengthen safeguarding processes.
- Represent the organisation at safeguarding adults boards, strategy meetings, and governance panels.
- Provide expert safeguarding advice and support to professionals across adult social care.
- Ensure all safeguarding work complies with relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Human Rights Act 1998.
- Support the development of safeguarding policies, procedures, and best practice guidance.
- Ensure effective record-keeping and reporting systems are in place for auditing and regulatory compliance.
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent) from a UK university
- Registration with Social Work England
- Significant experience in adult safeguarding, quality assurance, and service improvement.
- Proven ability to manage projects, deliver audits, and drive policy development.
- Experience of multi-agency working, governance, and risk management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to influence and drive positive change in safeguarding services.
