- From a relevant technical background, ideally within an MSP environment such as third line support, project management or technical delivery.
- Strong foundation across varying technologies in Networking, Communications and IT.
- Experience in designing networking solutions (including WAN, LAN, wLAN technologies) and Unified Communications solutions (including hosted UC, Contact Centre, Peripherals)
- Experience in IT solutions and services would advantageous
- Experience with the following vendors would be advantageous: Microsoft 365 and Teams, Gamma Horizon and Wildix, LG Cloud, Meraki, SonicWall
- Experience in a customer-facing, technical sales role
- The ability to evaluate and understand a customer’s business needs/objectives and design a solution to meet those needs.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- A desire to understand relevant new technologies as they come to market and a keen interest in the continued development of your technical skill set.
- Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly.
- Full drivers licence and willingness to travel through sales territory.
- Experience in producing high quality commercial proposals including design, solution overview and pricing.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of networking and unified communications products in the SME and Enterprise market
