- Experience working as a Support Worker in Urology AfC Band 4
- Experience in coordinating a patient workload
- Experience of multiprofessional working
- Experience in the use of data management
- Evidence of good communications skills

- Understanding of personcentred care
- Understanding of the health and social care environment
- Experience of coach/teaching patients and carers
- Demonstrates an awareness of the complex issues when organisations and understands key elements of change management
- Intermediate knowledge of national policy and research relating to the cancer diagnostic agenda
- Understanding of Cancer Support services across the UK.
- Awareness of Improving Outcomes: A Strategy for Cancer and other national cancer policies
- Knowledge of relevant cancer treatments, interventions and terminology
- IT skills (Microsoft Outlook/Excel/Word)
- Able to use own initiative
