You will be a key member of the Dunelm product team, rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in. This role will be reporting to the Principal Product Manager for Platform, Operations & Enterprise.This role is about:
- Growing the value of Product within the Cybersecurity team and creating a strong partnership with technology teams.
- Simplify cybersecurity for all users, regardless of expertise.
- Owning, defining and prioritising your backlog & roadmap covering outcomes related to Cybersecurity.
- Collaborating with other Product Managers, aligning backlogs & roadmaps with a view to driving seamless delivery of initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships through influence and negotiation.
- Support overall strategy by prioritising work and managing trade-offs.
- Being customer & colleague driven, always putting our customers & colleagues at the heart of your mind and decisions.
- Communicating and collaborating with all Dunelm stakeholders.
- Create effective solutions for Technology colleagues to prevent security flaws early, reducing costs and effort.
- Demonstrating and evangelising a test and learn approach to solving problems at speed.
- Being accountable for our software, platforms & tool quality, and performance.
- We need an “in the detail” product management person, with a good understanding of security technically.
- Some product exposure and experience.
- Passionate about solving customer and colleague problems & championing the customer and colleague to the wider business.
- Ability to prioritise within the teams as well as cross prioritisation effectively with the ability to manage multiple competing outcomes.
- Be curious, internally and externally, continuously engaging with our industry, other departments to gain knowledge and understanding.
- Analytically inclined, able to analyse customer behaviour.
- A Critical Thinker by utilising your skills to make informed decisions and contribute to thoughtful discussions.
- A “get things done” mindset, knowing how and when to communicate progress whilst delivering value quickly.
- Demonstrable experience of research, ideation and shaping a backlog of work.
- Ability to manage writing user stories, product processes & lead ceremonies.
- An ability to agree, set and maintain SLAs with key stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, especially around tech teams, peer groups and senior management
- Comfortable with liaising and working with 3rd party providers.
- Good experience and familiarity with Jira, Slack, Miro, and other common tools and software used in agile digital development.
