PAYE: £28.82 per hour | Umbrella: £37.00 per hourSanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Shared Service Manager to lead the Council Tax function within a dynamic Revenues & Benefits Shared Service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a senior management role within a collaborative and evolving environment.Key Responsibilities:Take full ownership of the Council Tax function, ensuring effective administration, accuracy, and high-quality service delivery.Provide cross-functional support across other service areas as required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach.Deputise for the Head of Service when necessary, ensuring continuity of leadership.Work closely with the Assistant Director of Revenues & Benefits and senior management to oversee shared service operations and support new business initiatives.Manage and support multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sites and remote locations, fostering a positive, productive, and inclusive work environment.Build and maintain strong relationships with shared service authorities at all levels to ensure seamless integration and service delivery.Essential Qualifications and Experience:IRRV qualification or equivalent relevant experience in Revenues & Benefits management.Proven success managing Council Tax operations and leading teams within a multi-site/shared service environment.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.Why Work with Sanctuary Personnel?As a leading recruitment agency supporting local authorities across the UK, Sanctuary Personnel offers exclusive access to roles, unrivalled support, and highly competitive pay.
