- Build strong, collaborative relationships with Business Unit Heads and key stakeholders to enhance financial understanding and performance.
- Act as a strategic advisor on financial matters, driving engagement and operational efficiency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and deliver insightful financial analysis.
- Review monthly management accounts and prepare detailed Business Unit reports.
- Develop periodic cashflow projections and support working capital management.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with Business Unit Heads.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and implement best practices.
- Oversee quarterly reporting submissions to the parent company.
- Manage and support Finance staff, including performance appraisals and development.
- Support external audit processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Respond to ad hoc requests, projects, and financial research from senior management.
- Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA, ACA) with post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within a large organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering experience.
- Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of financial regulations.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
