Choice Teachers are working with a fabulous Primary School in Wigan to recruit a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis starting as soon as possible. Pay is between £14.17 and £14.67 per hpur dependig on qualification/experience. You must have experience in working with children who have additional needs. This role is temporary ongoing with a pupil in a Y4 class who has learning delays.We are looking for someone who:
  • Is a committed, adaptable and caring professional, passionate about delivering high quality support and providing an inspirational approach to learning
  • Can demonstrate the creativity, resilience and interpersonal skills to complement our highly effective team
  • Is an effective team player and willing to be fully involved in the life of the school.
The successful candidate must have:
  • DBS Certificate on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • Experience in working with children or adults with additional needs
  • A CV covering all dates including gaps in work history
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 professional references covering the last 2 years
  • Has qualification passes in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Holds a Level 2 TA qualification or higher
