This is a functional occupational health strategic team that improves the health and well-being of route services colleagues through health risk identification and management.

No two days are the same as an Occupational Health & Wellbeing Manager at Network Rail. You'll be the go-to person for all things health and wellbeing, ensuring our teams are supported and our policies are followed. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business-including HR and the central Health and Wellness Strategy team-to shape and deliver improvement plans tailored to local needs. From leading wellbeing initiatives and identifying training opportunities for line managers, to gathering meaningful health data and helping manage external service providers, you'll play a key role in keeping our people safe, supported, and thriving. You'll also stay on top of emerging health trends, continuously developing your expertise to meet the evolving needs of our workforce.Essential Criteria· Relevant clinical occupational health expertise required to assess health needs of the business unit· Ability to work autonomously on own initiative and be able to prioritise work appropriately· An effective communicator· Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook· Proven resilience in an occupational health environment to be able to deal with the demands of the postPlease see attached job description for full detailsDesirable Criteria· Additional qualifications and experience in an area of health specialism, such as cardiovascular disease, cancer in the workplace, mental health, musculoskeletal conditions or vocational rehabilitation· Safety management qualification i.e. NEBOSH or equivalent· Railway or equivalent industry experience· Customer interface, including training/presenting relevant health data/presentationsHow to apply (External)Additional Information…Closing date: 14th September.
