Our client is a well-established law firm with a growing branch in Solihull, West Midlands, seeking a capable and proactive Legal Assistant to support our Conveyancing Solicitors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior conveyancing experience to grow within a collaborative and professional team.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to conveyancing solicitors on a wide range of residential property transactions
- Draft legal documents including contracts, client letters and completion statements
- Order and review land registry searches, property titles and other relevant documentation
- Manage case files from initial instruction to post-completion using our case management system (training provided)
- Perform general administrative duties such as preparing SDLT forms, ID checks and file organisation
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties throughout the transaction process
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to clients and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Competitive salary depending on experience (£25,000 – £30,000)

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a legal assistant or conveyancing assistant in residential property law
- Thorough understanding of conveyancing processes from instruction to post-completion
- Confident in drafting legal documents, managing case files and liaising with clients
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable and proactive, with excellent communication skills
- Fully office-based role – candidates must be available to work on-site Monday to Friday
- Ambitious and eager to progress within a reputable legal practice
