Job Title: Mathematics KS3/KS4Location: Brighton & HovePay: £120 – £150 per dayContract: Full time – Long termStart date: September 2025Ready to multiply your impact and divide barriers to learning?Supply desk is proudly recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking secondary school who is part of a multi Academy Trust in East Sussex seeking a passionate and resilient Maths teacher to join their dedicated team in September 2025.The school supports a good number of students with challenging behaviour and they are looking for teacher who sees beyond the barriers and is determined to help students rediscover their love for maths.Your responsibilities:
  • Plan and Deliver structured Maths Lessons across KS3/KS4 in line with the national curriculum
  • Build positive and consistent relationships whit students who might have experienced disruption or disengagement in their education
  • Promote positive behaviour for learning and maintain strong classroom routines
  • Work collaboratively with staff, pastoral teams and trust colleagues
  • Help student grow in confidence – both in Maths and in themselves
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified teacher status desired but not essential
  • Confident in planning and delivering KS3/KS4 Curriculum including GCSE
  • Confident in Challenging Behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Strong classroom presence, resilience and a solution focused mindset
  • Clear focus on restorative practice and inclusion
