
Transport Supervisor

- Conduct pre-shift meetings for driver workforce
- Communicating with other departments supervisors and managers
- Provide summaries to dispatcher
- Identify driver issues and provide corrective actions
- Report drivers over 10 hours to GM on daily basis
- Update customer information
- Recommend operational improvements, including route changes
- Review key operating indicators
- Provide daily production report to General Manager
- Manage, evaluate, engage team drivers
- DOT/OSHA compliance
- All daily Payroll functions
- Validate equipment within our commercial vehicles is active and compliant
- Work with safety manager to identify drivers for risk based on vehicle data
- Ensures DOT requirements are met
- Ensures physicals and randoms are completed as required
- Maintain all DOT files and logs
- Previous experience as a Driver or Dispatcher preferred
- Background or education in Supply Chain or Logistics
- 1-2 years of DOT and fleet management experience
- Willingness to be flexible when projects demand.
- CDL-A helpful but not required
