Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentBenefits: bonus scheme, private pension contributions, all bank holidays off, 27 days holiday allowance, benefits platform, weekends offJob Description & Responsibilities:We are currently looking for a time-served Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Tipton on a permanent basis, working a double days shift (Monday to Friday). This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of plant equipment across the site.Your work will include a mix of electrical and mechanical tasks, particularly focusing on:Electrical maintenance and fault-finding on industrial boilersWorking with and repairing AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and pumpsPerforming welding and fabrication as needed to support breakdowns or mechanical fixesDiagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systemsCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Reacting to and resolving unplanned breakdowns quickly and effectivelySupporting production with ongoing equipment issues and ensuring minimal downtimeKeeping accurate records of maintenance work completedThis role is ideally suited to a practical, hands-on engineer with a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems. No formal qualifications are required - we're looking for someone who is time-served, experienced, and confident working across a wide range of industrial equipment.Requirements:Strong electrical and mechanical skillsWelding experience is essentialGood knowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsComfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environmentProactive and reliable with a strong work ethicRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
