- As a member of the Talent OD and inclusion team within HEIW the postholder will manage elements of specific projects as delegated.
- Provide administrative and technical support to Programme Managers.
- Formulate and monitor projects to ensure their successful delivery.
- Provide training.
- Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
- Educated Degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects.
- Project management qualification such as Prince 2 or equivalent experience.
- Experience of administering projects and programmes.
- Experience of project management.
- Experience of successful team working.
- Demonstrable experience of establishing administrative systems and procedures making improvements as appropriate.
- Experience of co-ordinating projects from planning through to delivery and evaluation.
- Experience of working to strict deadlines.
- Experience of management and managing successful projects Experience of working within the NHS or other public sector body.
- Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills. Good minute taking and report drafting skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and equally effective as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to plan elements of projects across different hospital/sites/teams/services.
- Able to plan and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines and deal effectively with conflicting priorities
- Proficient in use of standard IT packages e.g., Microsoft Office with the ability to master new applications.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise.
- Welsh Language Skills are desirable levels 1 to 5 in understanding, speaking, reading and writing in Welsh.
