Position: Consultant Psychiatrist
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Setting: Neuropsychiatric inpatient – ABI & complex neurological conditions
Location: St Neots, CambridgeshireYour key responsibilities will be;
- Lead MDT meetings and psychiatric care planning
- Manage admissions, including complex referrals from secure settings
- Oversee Mental Health Act and DoLS processes
- Support junior staff through clinical supervision
- Deliver audits, clinical governance, and service improvement
- Contribute to risk management and discharge planning
- Engage in ongoing CPD and contribute to research projects
- Full GMC registration with licence to practice
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
- Experience in neuropsychiatry or complex inpatient care
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of current mental health legislation and governance
- Specialist reg ideally with S12/AC
