Senior Electrical Engineer

- Lead the electrical design process for MEP projects, from concept through to completion
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for electrical systems
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration of electrical design with other disciplines
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing electrical systems and provide recommendations for improvements
- Assist in the development of cost estimates and project schedules
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in the development of their technical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred
- Proven experience in UK Engineering Design - MEP, with a focus on electrical systems
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical calculation tools
- Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulations related to electrical design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with overall building design
- Conduct technical reviews of electrical designs and provide guidance for necessary revisions
- Communicate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise
- Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve electrical design processes
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines
