We are recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant and supportive special primary school in Knowsley,Liverpool. The school caters to pupils aged 4 to 11 with complex autism and/or learning difficulties.This is a community-focused school that values communication, social interaction, independence, and emotional well-being. Staff work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment.Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support and general classroom assistanceSupport pupils with their learning, communication, and daily routinesEncourage independence and social skills through positive reinforcementWork closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored interventionsRequirements:
Minimum of 6 months classroom experience in the UKExperience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD and/or SLD, is desirablePassionate about supporting vulnerable learners in a special needs settingAble to build strong, trusting relationships with children and staffEligibility:
Right to work in the UKEnhanced Child Barred List DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)Two professional references related to childcare or educationAvailable to work full-time from September 1stWhat We Offer:
