Warehouse Operative Jobs in Audenshaw at Stannah - Join Our Team!Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the Operations Department based in Audenshaw.This job will involve preparing and refurbishing stairlift products, ensuring they meet compliance and quality standards, along with warehouse duties and stock control.As the Warehouse Operative , you will work full-time Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45, Friday 08:00 to 15:45. This job is a permanent position.This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical or electrical knowledge and a keen eye for detail who enjoys working in a hands-on environment.Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and refurbish stairlifts, ensuring they are fully tested, defect-free, and meet compliance standards.
  • Pack and secure refurbished stairlifts, ensuring all necessary parts are included.
  • Carry out warehouse duties, including stock control, booking in returned stairlifts, and completing stocktakes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Warehouse Operative Requirements:
  • Experience using basic hand tools.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge (desirable).
  • Forklift License would be desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to health & safety and continuous improvement.
