​Our client is seeking an experienced High Voltage Technician to join their Asset Management function. Employees benefit from industry-leading training, development opportunities, and a range of wellbeing initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure Health, Safety & Environmental compliance during all site activitiesSupervise contractors and sub-contractors on-siteMaintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's Electrical Safety RulesConduct planned and unplanned inspections of offshore and onshore assetsCarry out HV Switching as an Authorised PersonPerform minor fault-finding and electrical installation workSupport development of asset and maintenance policiesPrepare regular operational reportsAssist in contingency planningEssential RequirementsQualified to technician level in an electrical discipline (ONC / NVQ L3)5+ years' experience in the UK electricity supply industry or offshore wind industryStrong understanding of health & safety legislationProven experience with high-voltage electrical systems, plant, and equipmentExperience supervising contractorsAbility to hold operational authorisations at the required levelGWO offshore certification (or ability to obtain - training provided)IOSH/NEBOSH certification (advantageous)Skills & AttributesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong team player with the ability to work independentlyHighly organised, self-motivated, and safety-focusedCustomer-oriented with a commitment to high performance standardsLocation & TravelCandidates should be within a 60-90 minute operational response distance of Beatrice onshore substation (near Keith) and Moray East onshore substation (near New Deer). Travel to other UK sites will be required, with expenses covered in line with company policy.
