- Qualifications in specialism
- Graduate and/or working towards Master's degree
- Current professional midwifery registration
- Completion of leadership development programme/ course/module
- Demonstrable CPD
- Highly developed communication, influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate ability to produce complex reports and formulate policies
- Ability to use initiative and make decisions
