
Junior Clinical Fellow in Acute Medicine

- Full UK GMC registrations with licence to practice
- A primary medical qualification as recognised by the General Medical Council
- MRCP UK or equivalent
- Additional qualifications e.g. BSc, MSc or equivalent
- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
- Evidence of appropriate general and acute medical experience +/- speciality
- Clinical and procedural skills consistent with those expected at end of FY1
- Experience of and involvement in clinical audit
- Extracurricular Achievements e.g prizes or distinctions
- Training and education of undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Good time management skills
- Good communication skills including a good command of written and spoken English
- IT and computer skills
- Understanding of clinical governance and audit procedures
- Teaching skills and experience
- Ability to work within a multi - disciplinary team
- Motivated, flexible and enthusiastic
- Understands the importance of the patient as the central focus of care
- Able to work with and lead a team and to work effectively under pressure
- Understand the principles of equality and diversity
