We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team in Christchurch, Dorset.The suitable candidate must be a British National who has held a UK British Passport for the last 5 years, as this site will require SC Clearance vetting.The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work day and night shifts (weekdays nights, weekends, Bank Holidays) between 16.00 to 08.00 wee· Pay Rate: £12.71· Average Weekly Hours: 36 hrs pw· Contracted Hours: 36 hrs pw· Employee Status: Permanent/ Full TimeDuties will include:· “Meet and Greet”· Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally· Manage all systems within the security control base· Ensure a vigilance, professional presence· Produce accurate reports as and when needed· Be an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager· Be an effective ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the clientEssential Requirements:· Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken· Excellent customer care skills· Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety· Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level· Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports· Demonstrates good observation skills· Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patternsIn order to work for Samsic UK you MUST fulfil the following criteria:· Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding· Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months· Be fluent in spoken and written English· Must have a British Passport, for SC Reasons· Have a five-year checkable history (Providing a HMRC 5 Year Work History record at your interview)Benefits:· Full site training· Apprentice scheme available to all· Reward and recognition scheme· Career development plan· Pension scheme· Uniform provided· SIA Licence paid for· Strong Management support
