£40 Umbrella / £29.80 PAYECertain Advantage are working with a globally known manufacturing company, are actively seeking an Electronics Engineer to work standard days on a Sub Contract Basics for an initial 12 month contract, This is an on-site based role.Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking an Electronics Engineer to service Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment.
- Fault finding and repair of test equipment, supporting routine calibrations, commissioning of Test Equipment and drift analysis.
- You will be working within an experienced team of Calibration & Maintenance Engineers supporting complex test platforms in the manufacture and test of complex systems. You will be trained to calibrate and support special to type factory test equipment using a range of technologies, DC to Microwave.
- Experience and knowledge in the calibration of test equipment and maintenance of test systems to component level. (Training provided).
- Able to utilise instructions, handbooks, drawings or specifications to provide technical advice/guidance. Able to use this information to conduct appropriate measurements and repairs down to component level.
- Have a good understanding of calibration principles and processes.
- Able to mentor other or more junior staff when requested by line manager.
- Able to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to the relevant audience.
- A good understanding of SAP would be desirable.
- Experience of working on Environmental Chambers an advantage.
Minimum qualification: HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
