  • To have day to day responsibility for the smooth running of the room, ensuring that staff are deployed appropriately, and their planning reflects each individual child's needs. To oversee and support staff in recording children's observations and termly reports on Childcare Connect, in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of key person procedures within their rooms and to be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families.
  • Support and supervise room staff including apprentices and students with their day to day duties.
