
Lead Chef

- Covering cooking duties at least 2 days a week, and stepping in during holidays and sickness cover
- Managing ordering, stock taking, and ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly
- Supporting the overall kitchen management, including team supervision
- Management and control of all food production in the units
- Consideration of all dietary requirements
- Menus - completion, planning & promotions
- Ordering of all aspects, storage, and stock control
- Preparation of staff rotas and staffing during holidays
- Develop & maintain excellent client and customer relationships
- Delivery of all KPI's
- Responsible for all H&S & legislative regulations in relation to food production and services
- Management and control of all budgets
- Experience in catering/ chef supervisory/ management, a passion for food and an eye for detail
- Experienced chef in catering management
- Strong leader & financially astute
- Experience of catering for up to 500 staff each day at each site
- Used to high volume catering
- Good interpersonal skills with a positive outlook
